Upskill/Reskill with TTP Renewables Training Packages

TTP’s recently launched renewables packages create the ideal training plan for reskilling/upskilling current operators or training new technicians. Grouped by renewable power generation type – Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Solar, Wind, All Renewables – our packages take the guesswork out of your training plan. 

Every renewables package includes the following eight foundational courses: Basic Electrical Fundamentals, Fault Protection Relays, Maintenance Testing, Medium Voltage Transformer Fundamentals, Renewable Interconnect/Substation Facility, SCADA Fundamentals, Substation Fundamentals, and Substation Safety. Many of these courses feature essential learning on electrical principles and systems not often needed in traditional power generation.

In addition to these eight courses, each package adds one or more courses specific to BESS, Solar, or Wind sites with the last package including all available TTP renewables training courses. We are continuing to create additional renewables courses as well. Any time a new course is added to any package, our existing customers will receive immediate access to that content.

1. Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Operations & Maintenance – The BESS O&M package includes 10 3D-animated computer-based training courses comprised of 65+ learning modules. In addition to the eight foundational courses, BESS O&M includes Battery Energy Storage System Fundamentals and Inverter Fundamentals.
2. Solar Operations & Maintenance – The Solar O&M package includes 11 3D-animated computer-based training courses comprised of 74 learning modules. In addition to the eight foundational courses, Solar O&M includes Inverter Fundamentals, Photovoltaic Fundamentals and Solar Generation Facility.
3. Wind Operations & Maintenance – The Wind O&M package includes nine 3D-animated computer-based training courses comprised of 53 learning modules. In addition to the eight foundational courses, Wind O&M includes MHI 1.0MW Wind Turbine. This course can apply to most other wind turbines such as Vestas in Nordex. We are currently in the process of developing dedicated courses for both of those OEMs as well.
4. Renewables Operations & Maintenance – The Renewables O&M package includes all 13 of TTP’s BESS, Solar and Wind 3D-animated computer-based training courses which are comprised of 91+ learning modules. Courses include Basic Electrical Fundamentals, Battery Energy Storage System Fundamentals, Fault Protection Relays, Inverter Fundamentals, Maintenance Testing, Medium Voltage Transformer Fundamentals, MHI 1.0MW Wind Turbine, Photovoltaic Fundamentals, Renewable Interconnect/Substation Facility, SCADA Fundamentals, Solar Generation Facility, Substation Fundamentals, and Substation Safety.
